Canopy Wagons for Your Children
There’s something about canopy wagons that is just endearing to children. They love to spend time in them and will sometimes sit there for hours. Wagons mean long walks, quality time with mom and dad, and fun trips through the neighborhood. Today’s wagons are very well built, lightweight, and designed for comfort.
Most of today’s canopy wagons are made of plastic, unlike the original wagons of years ago that were made of metal and/or wood. A durable plastic wagon has many advantages. They are able to withstand any kind of weather, be it rain, sleet, or snow, without risk of rust. They’re also very easy to clean making them almost indestructible.
Today’s plastic wagons are very parent and child friendly. Many of them have molded seats for comfort and seat belts for safety. They have cup holders for drinks and storage areas for extra supplies. They also have doors that open and close so your child can get in and out easily and safely, and rounded edges to prevent cuts and scratches.
It’s very difficult to tip over a canopy wagon (another great safety feature). They have a wide turning radius and extra long handles that make it much easier for us parents to pull. They’re very durable and can withstand a lot of tough play. Your kids can run over rocks and holes and still keep going. Don’t be afraid of a little rough play.
One advantage of a plastic wagon is that they’re easy to clean and you don’t have to worry about any rusty metal. When your wagon shows signs of being dirty you’ll only need a few minutes to get it looking good again. Just use some hot water, some mild detergent, and a soft bristled brush then rinse with clean water.
Be careful of leaving your wagon out in the hot sun. The plastic will tend to get very warm and you don’t want your child to burn themselves on any hot spots. You should just store the wagon in a cool and shaded area when not in use. Extreme heat will cause the wagon to warp and deform. Your wagon may also experience some fading of color if left out in the sun for too long.
Wagons are a great tool that will stimulate both sensory and cognitive development in you children. Cognitive development occurs when your children use their imaginations and boy will those little minds be working full steam as you pull them around on one adventure after another. They’ll also be taking in all of the sights, sounds, and smells from the great outdoors which will stimulate their sensory development.
Canopy wagons are a great way to spend quality time with your children. These wagons are well made and will withstand hours of adventures as you head out to the park or just check out the neighborhood.
